Infusion Safeguard
Ensuring safety throughout infusion therapy, this module automatically pauses a PCA infusion and deactivates the patient dose request cord if a patient falls below hospital-defined % SpO2 limits when used with the Alaris® PCA module. It aligns with current ASA and APSF standards mandating oxygenation monitoring for all appropriate patients.
