Preparation

Ensure your fire suppression system is fully prepared and operational. This includes connecting hoses, verifying water pressure, and activating the system to confirm it is ready.

Mixing Ratio

For optimal effectiveness, mix TRPL-E at a ratio of 3%. This precise mixture ensures the agent’s full fire suppression capabilities are utilized.

Injection

Introduce TRPL-E into the water stream using the in-line eductor while the fire suppression system is active. The eductor creates a vacuum that efficiently draws the encapsulator agent into the water flow, ensuring thorough mixing.

Dispersion

The TRPL-E and water mixture is then dispersed through the fire suppression system onto the fire or affected area. TRPL-E suppresses flames and forms a protective barrier, preventing re-ignition. This agent does not expand in water, providing a unique and effective suppression method.

Monitoring

Continuously monitor the fire suppression operation, making necessary adjustments to the flow rate or application to ensure the fire is completely extinguished. Maintain pump operations above 100 gpm, and set the nozzle at or above 95 gpm for optimal agent flow rate.

Post-Operation

After extinguishing the fire, follow proper shutdown and cleanup procedures. Flush pumps and hose lines with water to clear any remaining agents. TRPL-E’s biodegradable nature allows easy cleanup with a simple rinse, reducing environmental impact.

Application with Fire Extinguishers

Add 1.5 gallons of TRPL-E to a 2.5-gallon water fire extinguisher and pressurize to 100 psi for fire extinguisher use. This configuration provides optimal air-to-agent performance for effective fire suppression.

Note: Always empty and rinse the fire extinguisher before refilling with TRPL-E to prevent agent mixing and ensure maximum performance and safety.
