Features:
GE Healthcare introduced its new CARESCAPE™ Telemetry platform, a wireless patient monitoring offering for hospitals. Built on GE CARESCAPE Enterprise Access™ and leveraging GE ApexPro® CH Telemetry, GE CARESCAPE telemetry enables hospitals to simultaneously leverage multiple telemetry frequencies and coordinate cell phone, Wi-Fi and other wireless technologies on one infrastructure. The CARESCAPE Telemetry T14 Transmitter expands the capacity of the ApexPro CH telemetry system, enabling you to monitor up to 438 patients across the coverage area. This accommodates today’s requirements and helps ensure capacity for future expansion. The transmitter uses 1395 to 1400 MHz.
- Parameter Excellence: Atrial fibrillation trending helps improve and speed clinical decision making by providing a visual display of the current state, duration and frequency of a patient’s atrial fibrillation events. Clinicians can also adjust ST segment alarms (ECG wave forms) to reduce nuisance alarms and standardize telemetry with the capabilities and functionality of GE bedside monitors.
- Remote Servicing and Updates: CARESCAPE Telemetry can be remotely serviced to help improve hospital efficiency and reduce downtime.
- New reporting capabilities: Enhanced reporting capabilities to help improve and facilitate clinician and hospital reporting requirements.
GE Apex Pro Telemetry
Features:
The ApexPro telemetry receiver is a new space-saving design and can be conveniently mounted to a standard network equipment rack or shelf. Configuration allows up to four quad receiver modules, for a total of 16 multi-channel telemetry receivers in one compact unit. The flexibility to add quads with four receiver channels allows the system to grow with the number of patients which are monitored telemetrically.
The multi-channel receivers are admitted through the Clinical Information Center CIC Pro. The telemetry data is processed there, stored and displayed. The telemetrically acquired ECG-data can also be displayed at a bedside monitor. The use of LAN data transfer technology allows the receiver system to be located virtually anywhere within the hospital. LED displays offer quick, easy assessment of on-line status while diagnostic ports speed troubleshooting.
- Arterial fibrillation detection.
- 3, 5, or 6 (dual V-Lead) wire sets.
- Electronic software calipers at the central station.
- 1, 24, 48, or 72 hours of Full Disclosure.
- 4-Lead simultaneous and independent arrhythmia detection.
- Masimo and Nellcor SpO2, blood pressure, and temperature via DinaLink and a DINAMAP vital signs monitors.
GE ApexPro CH
The GE ApexPro CH uses the GE EK-Pro clinical algorithm, which processes and analyzes four independent, simultaneous ECG leads - meeting and exceeding stringent AHA guidelines. Plus an innovative Smart Leads Fail feature significantly reduces false ECG alarms. With GE EK-Pro, Apex Pro supports advanced atrial fibrillation detection and alarming. Early and accurate identification of AFib may help prevent this arrhythmia from becoming chronic. Apex Pro has the capability to monitor two V-leads on each patient. Caregivers can be vigilant for both arrhythmias and ST segment changes through a better picture of the patient’s heart. The flexible design of Apex Pro allows each transmitter to monitor only the parameters each patient requires. Continuous monitoring of ECG and SpO2 and episodic monitoring of NIBP and temperature allow caregivers to tailor monitoring according to the patients' acuity.
