The Hill-Rom Advance Series Beds are 4-motor retractable type beds that move the patient closer to the head end of the bed automatically when the head section is elevated. The bed is equipped with a night light that automatically illuminates an area under the bed, at both sides, when the ambient light decreases. The Advance Series beds are mechanically built with an automatic contour position to make the patient feel more comfortable.

Hill-Rom Advanta P1600A/B
The Hill-Rom Advanta P1600A and the Hill-Rom Advanta P1600B are four-motor, retractable-type beds with multiple articulation features. A variety of options are available, including nurse call, patient scale, a patient position monitoring system, night light, air system, and side rail controls. This retractable-type bed means that the articulating frame moves towards the head end of the bed as the head section is elevated. This has the effect of keeping the patient in the same relative position with regard to objects outside the bed, such as shelves or night stands.
